The conference will be held from the morning of Friday, July 24, 2020 through Sunday, July 26, 2020 when we will conclude with our annual Awards Banquet.
The conference is located on our beautiful 100-acre campus overlooking the Mississippi River at 11755 Riverview Drive, St. Louis, Missouri USA.
You should plan to arrive in St. Louis (airport code STL) no later than Thursday, July 23 and make your departure plans for Monday, July 27. The Applied Scholastics Awards Banquet will be held Sunday night, so departure plans should not be made prior to Monday.
If you are traveling a great distance from a foreign country, we encourage you to plan to arrive to the campus by Wednesday evening so that you are rested for the start of the conference on Friday morning.
Please be mindful of airline delays and cancellations and make your plans accordingly – the earlier the better. If you need assistance booking your travel, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our staff will be happy to assist you.
The conference fee is a flat rate. The cost is $550 per person for the Early Bird rate for those registered and paid by 16 April 2020. The cost will increase for anyone registering after that date.
The flat rate fee includes all conference seminars, transport to and from the St. Louis airport, basic room accommodation and all meals, including the Awards Banquet. Any upgrade you request for room accommodation will be at an additional fee and is based on availability. Any off campus excursions you wish to participate in will be optional and at an additional cost to you.
The Applied Scholastics Spanish Lake campus can accommodate a large number of overnight guests at one time and we have a variety of room types. Your conference ticket includes room accommodation, however your room type is not guaranteed and is based on availability; private rooms are extremely limited.

Private Room with private bath – a single or double bed with attached bath
Private Room with shared bath – a single or double bed with a shared bath to a connecting room.
Private Room without bathroom – a single or double bed with a bath down the hall
Shared room with private bath – two single beds with an attached bath
Shared room with bath – two single beds with a shared bath to a connecting room.
Dorm Room – two single beds with sink and toilet and a communal shower room nearby.
Any upgrade you request for private room accommodation will be at an additional fee and is based on availability.

Applied Scholastics has a large dining hall to accommodate our guests. Your convention fee includes all meals, snacks and late-night café during your stay at Spanish Lake. We work hard to accommodate all special food needs and allergies; non-dairy, gluten-free and vegetarian options are available at all meals.
The Canteen is stocked with any specialty snacks or beverages that you may have a craving for and is available for purchase 24 hours a day.

Transportation upon arrival to and departure from Saint Louis airport (airport code STL) to the Applied Scholastics Spanish Lake campus is provided and included in your convention fee.
Many foreign travelers require a visa to enter the US to attend the conference and Applied Scholastics is happy to write you a letter of invitation to enter the US and participate in the conference.

We recommend that along with your basic personal needs and clothing, you bring the following items with you during your stay:
Our canteen is stocked with a variety of toiletries and basic necessities that are commonly needed by overnight guests. So if you forget your toothbrush or are in need of shampoo, these are available for sale in the canteen.
If you find that you need something that is not available, our Guest Services will be happy to help accommodate your need and obtain the item for you locally during your stay.
Additionally, clothes washers and dryers (as well as irons) are located on each floor for your convenience.
Please wear comfortable clothing that is business casual. Keep in mind that summer in St. Louis tends to be hot and humid outside with cold air conditioning inside the building, thus we recommend you bring a light sweater or jacket.
The Awards Banquet will be held on Sunday night and the recommended dress for this event is semi-formal or business attire.

We do our best to make off-campus excursions available to those who want to participate in the evenings after the conference sessions have concluded for the day.
Requests for off-campus excursions should be made to Guest Services at Reception upon arrival and are not guaranteed.
Any off campus excursions you wish to participate in are optional and any additional costs for these excursions are paid directly to the vendor. In some cases, Applied Scholastics may be able to provide transport for a pre-planned excursion.
